Texas rapper Travi$ Scott was arrested at Lollapalooza for urging fans to jump the barricades and storm the stage.
Scott had performed just one song when fans began to jump the barricades into the security pit. The rapper then fled the scene, but Chicago Police caught up with him soon after and arrested him, according to a statement from the city’s Office of Emergency Management and Communications.

No fans were injured when they jumped the barricades.
Scott and one fan were each charged with disorderly conduct.
Concert promoter C3 Presents released a statement following the incident confirming that no fans were injured.
“Fans jumped the barricade into the security pit at Lollapalooza during Travis Scott’s performance on Saturday at Lollapalooza,” the statement read. “The situation was resolved quickly and no patrons were injured. Operations have resumed as normal. Chicago Police are handling the matter.”

Seven people had been arrested prior to Scott’s arrest, and at least 35 citations have been issued at the three-day music festival, according to OEMC.
Lollapalooza takes place in Grant Park July 31 to Aug. 2.
